Individualized Education Plan

As part of the Association for the Development of Inclusive Society, we identified the challenges faced by teachers in general education schools and conducted a training program on "Creating an Individualized Curriculum Based on the Special Educational Needs of Students." We trained 33 teachers and provided post-training support.The project was funded by the NU Impact Foundation.

ERG tutor

In partnership with Teach for Kazakhstan, we conducted a training session for teachers on the ERG mektep project on inclusion and diversity. Weplaced a special emphasis on practical training: teachers analyzed case studies, learned about working methods, and even created their own inclusive space. It was especially valuable that in their feedback, teachers emphasized the practicality of the topic itself, as well as the proposed approaches, and noted that they plan to implement them in their work now.We believe that change begins with small steps. And for teachers, this step always begins in the classroom—it is there that a culture of respect, acceptance, and support is formed, where every child feels valued and important.

Individual child development plan
We help parents understand how to support their child: we conduct an assessment, create a development plan, and suggest which activities and approaches will be most beneficial.

Courses for parents
We explain in simple terms how to help your child at home, how to develop speech, attention, and sensory skills, and how to manage challenging behavior. We share life hacks and support from fellow parents and specialists.
Teaching nonverbal children communication
We'll show you how to use a tablet, flashcards, or assistive technology to help your child express their desires and emotions. This is the first step toward genuine communication and confidence.
Art courses
Creativity helps children develop their potential.We offer art classes where children draw, sculpt, and create, while artist mentors help them believe in themselves.

ABOUT THE RESEARCH CENTER

We test early intervention programs and inclusive methods to identify effective approaches, providing tailored recommendations for specialists and educational organizations. Our observation rooms with one-way mirrors and video surveillance allow for real-time data recording during individual and group sessions. The play and learning environment offers toys and educational aids suited to children's needs, creating a stimulating space for self-expression, interaction, and skill development.

ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATIONS

Ozim Academy's first initiative is to introduce alternative communication technologies into schools and kindergartens so that nonverbal children can express their thoughts and feelings.We assess the specific tools and approaches needed by each child and conduct individual and group sessions in our laboratory.We use proven methods to train teachers so that as many children as possible can have these opportunities.

 Diagnostics

We conduct a three-day speech development assessment for children.Our assessment tools were developed based on scientific data, international practices, and the participation of professors from the Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education.

Sessions

Classes with children are conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the methods.We study the methods both individually and in groups. We analyze all observations and formulate them into research and teaching materials.
